• User-Provided Data: Assignment files uploaded by students, attendance records input by faculty, ICA marks, timetables, and academic updates (managed internally within the institution).
• Device Permissions: To enable specific features, we request access to:
  • Storage Access (File Picker): Used for selecting and uploading documents (e.g., assignments, notices). We only access the files explicitly selected by the user via a file picker. We do not access the entire file system.
• What We Do Not Collect: Location data, camera or microphone, contacts, SMS, or call logs, device identifiers, or advertising IDs.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used solely to:

• Enable assignment submission
• Allow faculty to mark and view attendance
• Display academic-related content (e.g., timetables, grades)

We do not sell, share, or use your data for marketing or advertising purposes.

3. Data Security

We are committed to protecting your data. We implement:

• Secure communication using HTTPS encryption
• Access control to ensure only authorized users can view or modify data
• No sensitive data storage on local devices

4. Data Retention

User-submitted data (e.g., assignments) is stored only for the academic period or as required by NMIMS University policies. After that, data is securely deleted or archived.

5. Children's Privacy

This app is intended for use by university students and faculty. It is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

6. Third-Party Access

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. All data is handled internally by NMIMS University systems.
